Las Vegas Nascar Race & More...Pt IV

And finally, here's some more random images from the day. The thing to remember about this is this race and all races of the #28 car carrying the sponsorship logo of www.thepreventionplan.com are run to raise awareness about Preventive Medicine and the mission of US PREVENTIVE, INC. They're looking out for all of us by providing us information that we need to stay healthy. Do you, yourself, your family, your COMPANY a favor and get signed up on their plan right now! The cost will AMAZE you and you'll find out so much more about yourself in the process. You'll also discover you've been spending too much for care that you've not been getting and you'll be able to do something about that and heal YOU.

Thanks for taking time to gaze at this. If you're the CEO of a company and you'd like to connect with the management of US Preventive, let me know, I know we can arrange that to happen and it will end up saving your company a lot of money in the form of cash, as well as in the form of employee capital which is the most important in creating solid revenue.

Best wishes.

Support Team Stand at the PIT WALL. We got to stand right there as well as
sit up in the stand to watch the race. Each one has Direct TV installed, computers
monitors, radio gear to listen to the spotters as well as the driver during the race.
Amazing what you can hear out there when you're wearing those headphones.

Oh LOOK IT'S MARIA SIMONE!!! What's she doing here? Is her hubby around?
Hi SMILEY!

Img_1292

Oh look there she is again!

Img_1320

This guy had a bad day. Turns out he had several races that were the same result. Glad he's ok. The car however needs some bodywork and new tires. We used Discount Tires in Arizona. They ROCK THERE!

Img_1331

GoDaddy.com was pretty happy after the race. Danica came in 4th, which was much better than the 15th place where she started.

Get to this website right now!! Open another window and sign up yourself, your family, your company. Tell them Michael Murdock & Maria Simone sent you. We want your family getting this PREVENTIVE jump on your health.

I was going to get in the car and see what it was like, but watching this gal get in and out of the car, I decided to pass and just take this snapshot.

Las Vegas Nascar Race & More...Pt III

and now for the movies!!!

First is pulling into the garage area:

Next is some activity around the garage area and closeup of the car we're there to see:

Next is them pushing the #28 car out to the track:

Next up is a 360 degree spin of what it's like to be on Pit Road at the start of a NASCAR Race:

Next up is F16's flyover after the National Anthem

Next is the F16's leaving the area to head back to Nellis Air Force Base which is just down the way from the racetrack.

Next is the pace lap of the cars going around the track

Next is the 2nd pace lap, speeding up a bit more

Next is the pace car coming by us on pit road the cars remaining on the track to make one round before getting to green

Next is the cars ready for green

Next is the skidout of Car #39 in through the infield grass and out the other side back onto the track which brought out the yellow flag and track cleaning crews

ESPN's view of this was garbage compared to mine! Out of turn 4 the 39 car breaks loose and heads for the infield. As he crosses some grass he hits a bump and gets airborne then comes down passes through and heads back out onto the track. The first of a few yellows ensues.

Next is the 79 car coming in for fuel. This driver who is a woman had her race cut short, wrecked the car badly, but got out ok. Was something to see one minute she's in the race, a while later...OUT. Glad she's ok.

Next is a view from the stand at PITROAD for the Car 28 TEAM. We got to sit up high and watch the race. This stand has recorders and radio equipment, carries all the tools for the pit team so that they can keep the car going at the track level. Amazing stuff.

Next CAR #28 comes in for fuel. Notice the guy in white, he's a NASCAR official who watches every move. Every pit has at least one of these hanging around with a notepad watching everything. They're like hawks when it comes to details.

OH!!! And everyone wants to get their movie of Danica Patrick before they leave, so this is for all you guys out there who want to see her smiling face. Yes it was smiling. She started in 15th and finished in 4th. She was happy.

Lastly is the signoff of me before we pushed the car back to the garage.

Las Vegas Nascar Race & More...Pt II

So on Saturday we got up, had a great breakfast, grabbed everyone and headed off for an adventure that if you don't have it on your bucket list, you should by now! NASCAR RACE and to our surprise...WE get GARAGE & PITS CREDENTIALS!!! This is THE PLACE to watch the race from. You can see some from the stands, but to be down by the action, smell the rubber burning, smell the fuel, feel the wind, WOW what a way to experience racing!

But wait...there's the trip there first :)

Img_1243

Passed the Bellagio as we drove.

Then...this place below

Img_1244

Sure is different than when Evel jumped the fountains many years ago.

And then while we were on the freeway the driver pointed out to us that some guy named OJ SIMPSON had gotten arrested one year at this place below called Palace Station:

Img_1245

And then we arrived at this other place called LAS VEGAS MOTOR SPEEDWAY

Img_1246

They gave us special badges when we got in and signed some papers basically saying we're here of our own choice:

And the let us hang out in this area of the track where you get really cool views of what goes on behind the scenes of a race.

Screen_shot_2011-03-06_at_3

It's called the GARAGE AREA and special badges are required. They toss people out of here if they don't have the right stuff. We did.

Img_1255

This gas is a little pricier than that $3.85 a gallon stuff that goes in your normal car! A LOT PRICIER in fact.

Img_1256

Here's the car we were here to see. US PREVENTIVE Sponsors this #28 car driven by Derrike Cope. It's an Impala and not one that you'd see on the streets. This car rolls very quickly and yes those lights you see on it are "STICKERS" just like in the movie CARS!

(download)

Now normally they don't let just anyone out by these cars but we slipped by the guard with our special badges and headed out to the pit road for some lens time.

Next posting...some movies!!

Las Vegas Nascar Race & More...

So it's a real treat to go to Las Vegas anytime, just to see the changes in the landscape. However, to be the special guest of the CEO of a company, and get to hang out with some really great people at a NASCAR race after watching a presentation about something that's even now changing the face of medicine by providing PREVENTIVE measures...we'll that made things really special!

Maria and I received an invitation from some friends to come and visit with Chris Fey, the CEO of US Preventive Medicine, Inc. They're the folks who have really smacked the medical world as well as others on their cheek and given them a wake up call (in my book).

"PREVENTIVE MEDICINE WORKS!" Give people the knowledge of what it takes to make themselves better and they will. Stop charging people so much for healthcare to keep them sick, give them the tools they need to make themselves WELL.

We watched a presentation on Friday evening of just some of the amazing things the company is doing, and if you're not a member of this organization, you're spending way too much money on your healthcare and not getting a lot out of it. Plain and simple. Doctors do not spend the kind of time with you and give you the information that you need to make healthy decisions. They're in, out and retired quicker than Schwarzkopf got out of Iraq during the first war there.

You need to know what's going on with your body and www.thepreventionplan.com can help you get that information for an amazing price.

Lm

So here's Maria and our great friend Lorraine Conaway on our way via Southwest to VEGAS BABY!!!
Don't they both look amazing?

Img_1222

This was a little peek out the window as we made our way there on Friday the 4th of March.

When we got to the airport in Vegas we decided it would be fun to travel in style, so...

Img_1224

LIMO STYLE WE WENT!! Of to our hotel which was none other than Planet Hollywood.

Img_1226

One long dark limo we were in and it seemed like forever, but then we arrived at the hotel. Later that night from the 30th floor
I shot this view of the logo.

Img_1240

We had a wonderful dinner out on the town and the next morning we awoke and boarded a special bus to the track to watch the race...see next posting.
